Friends of FitRec Aquatics

The Friends of FitRec Aquatics support the department’s many activities. The Friends of FitRec Aquatics members include alumni, students, and members of the community with a special interest in the vitality of aquatics at BU. Your gift to the Friends of FitRec Aquatics account will help us continue to grow and will benefit us in these ways:

• Employee Development Program: designed to motivate employees to incorporate teamwork, positive attitudes, and fitness at work
• Swim lesson scholarships: allowing families to learn-to-swim and be safe around water
• Certification class scholarships: providing lifeguard and water safety instructor training and certification opportunities
• Aquatics equipment: purchasing new equipment to benefit our patrons and program offerings
