Camp Terrier – Rock Climbing
Ages 11 – 15
FitRock campers will learn and practice crucial foundational climbing techniques. Instruction will cover efficient movement, belay training, coping with fear, and risk management skills for indoor and outdoor settings. Campers will also enjoy swimming, yoga, and court sports.
The FitRock camp will culminate with day trips to beautiful New England outdoor climbing destinations, during which the campers will work with our expert outdoor instructors to rope climb, boulder, and experience the joy of outdoor recreation. Open to all skill and experience levels.
A typical day:

Camp Terrier Climbing Director:
Sean Kurnas is a BU alum who studied Biology and Philosophy. He has been an employee of the Fitness and Recreation center since 2008, and is now the Climbing Wall and Outdoor Programs Manager.
In his free time, Sean does his best to make the most of the Northeast weather with weekend trips to local crags and boulder fields.
