Guest Passes & Policy
Daily Guest Passes
Purchase a day pass here.
- Cost is $14/$10 (16+/Under 16)
- Users under 16 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian during the entirety of their visit. Photo identification may be required to prove date of birth.
- Day passes entitle guests to access the facility on the day issued only. If the guest leaves the facility and returns, photo identification is required for re-entry.
- Day passes MUST be purchased under the name of the person using it.
- Day passes are non-transferable and non-refundable.
- Check in at the front desk and inform them you have purchased an online day pass.
- Contact the FitRec front desk at 617-358-3740 with any questions.
Summer Guest Passes
Will you be participating in a BU high school academic program or a conference this summer? If so, you are eligible for a Summer Guest Pass to Boston University’s state-of-the-art fitness center! FitRec welcomes BU guests to beat the heat indoor this summer utilizing our phenomenal facilities such as an indoor jogging track, squash and racquetball courts, two swimming pools, a fitness center and more. Summer guests are also invited to take an invigorating recreation class. Single day passes can be purchased on the day of their use.
Summer passes are active the day they are purchased and remain active for the number of weeks that you purchase. Anyone purchasing a pass for 3 weeks or more that does not have a FitRec ID should ask to have one printed at the FitRec front desk.

Summer Guest Passes Available Summer 2024
User Agreement
All guests must be at least 16 years old. Any guest who is under the age of 16 must have their Fitrec User Agreement signed by their own parent or legal guardian before they will be granted access. FitRec User Agreement is prompted upon purchase of the membership. Any guest under the age of 16 must be accompanied by their own parent or legal guardian at all times inside the building, or chaperoned by a BU faculty/staff member as part of a group outing. Winter Guest Passes
Home for the holidays? If you live in the Boston University area, you can purchase week-long guest passes. FitRec welcomes BU guests to stay warm this winter utilizing our phenomenal facilities such as an indoor jogging track, squash and racquetball courts, two swimming pools, fitness center and more. Due to holiday exceptions, please be sure to check our Building Hours page before purchasing. Single day passes can be purchased on the day of their use.
