If you haven’t applied for financial aid, it’s not too late to be considered for a Federal Pell Grant or Direct Loan. You must complete a FAFSA to apply for federal financial aid.

No. We remain committed to meeting 100 percent of the demonstrated financial need for our domestic first-year students through our affordableBU program, even if that need changes because of the coronavirus pandemic.  If your financial circumstances have changed, please contact Financial Assistance.

Financial aid for international students is more limited but there may be options available. In addition, some credit-based loans are available to international students under certain circumstances. Also, student employment opportunities may be available on-campus. Please visit the Student Employment Office.

A limited pool of BU financial aid typically becomes available for the second semester of your academic year. In the past, these awards have been modest. Check our website in the fall for more information.
