CreatineCreatine is used to enhance athletic performance and build lean body mass. Creatine is naturally synthesized in the human body. Overall, it appears to have modest benefits for intense, repetitive exercise lasting less than 30 seconds. Clinical studies have not shown significant benefits on prolonged (endurance) aerobic exercise. It is used as a treatment of rare metabolic and neuromuscular disorders and the treatment of chronic heart failure.
