New Balance Field Construction Update – Gardner Street Traffic
Please be advised that with the completion of the New Balance Field project, Gardner Street has returned to being open to two-way traffic between Babcock and Alcorn Streets. The main entrance and exit to the garage is off of Gardner Street, down by the corner of Alcorn Street. The intent is for those who will be parking in the garage and heading north down Babcock Street to turn left down Gardner Street and approach the garage entrance from there. One of the project objectives was to reduce vehicular traffic on Babcock Street between Gardner and Ashford Streets by routing cars that will be using the garage down Gardner Street. This will, hopefully, create a more pedestrian-friendly area on Babcock Street. So, we encourage you to start using Gardner Street to enter the garage.
