fullscreen *; encrypted-media *\" sandbox=\"allow-forms allow-same-origin allow-scripts allow-top-navigation allow-pointer-lock allow-popups allow-modals allow-orientation-lock allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox allow-presentation allow-top-navigation-by-user-activation\" frameborder=\"0\" title=\"Kaltura Player\"><br \/>\n<\/iframe><\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">Project Impact<\/h3>\n<p>This project has directly impacted 60 students, providing them with hands-on experience in building and experimenting with AI on local machines and enhancing real-world application response times while maintaining privacy. <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Students built interesting AI models that ran locally on their machines and increased response times for real-world applications while maintaining their privacy. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/excellence\/files\/2024\/06\/Untitled-400-x-400-px.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"200\" class=\"size-full wp-image-12925 alignright\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Rawassizadeh&#8217;s work has received significantly improved course evaluations, with the first course receiving a rating of 4.98 out of 5 stars. <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Students reported feeling confident that there is infrastructure available for them to continue learning and creating new AI models.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><figure class=\"blockquote blockquote--shortcode theme--urchin blockquote--has-cite\"><blockquote>\n<p>The Generative AI course was at the cutting edge, incorporating state-of-the-art models in its course content. Most of the latest AI models rely on computation capacity;<br \/>\nhence, the GPU helped in both understanding finer details of algorithms and using the algorithms to hypothesize and build research projects.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote><figcaption><cite>-BU Student, Sandeep Yerra<\/cite><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center;\">Adoption and Sustainability<\/h4>\n<p>Metropolitan College now offers several AI modeling courses, including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/csmet\/academic-programs\/courses\/cs767\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MET CS767<\/a> Advanced Machine Learning and Neural Networks and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/academics\/met\/courses\/met-cs-788\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MET CS788<\/a> Generative AI.
