Teaching with AI isn’t something you need to figure out alone.<\/p>\n

The Institute for Excellence in Teaching and Learning is here to support BU faculty as you navigate one of the most significant shifts in higher education. Not with prescriptions, but from a human centered approach to help you make informed, confident decisions about how, and whether, AI fits in your classroom.<\/p>\n

The question isn’t whether AI changes teaching. It already has. The question is how you choose to respond, in a way that reflects your values, serves your students, and strengthens the learning expertise and experience you’ve built.<\/p>\n

Our method is grounded in the Adaptation, Listening, and Trust (ALT) Framework<\/a>, co-developed by Eric Gordon, BU Professor<\/a> and Director of the Center for Media Innovation & Social Impact<\/a>. It gives you a structured starting point, without telling you where to land. Each element builds on the last: Adaptation creates the conditions for genuine Listening, and Trust is what emerges when both are working.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t
