The Shipley Center in the Institute for Excellence in Teaching & Learning invites proposals to advance excellence and innovation in health education at Boston University. This initiative supports forward-looking, high-impact approaches to teaching and learning that incorporate meaningful digital or technology-enabled innovation, demonstrate strong potential to scale across the BU health professions, engage non-traditional disciplines/partners, and respond to the evolving demands of health education. Awardees will be designated Shipley Health Education Innovation Fellows, featured in internal communications, and invited to present their projects at an end-of-year Innovation Showcase. We will be accepting applications for two grant types. Seed Grants (10 grants at $10K): Early-stage or pilot initiatives, course/module redesigns, proof-of-concept projects. Innovation Grants (4 grants at $25K): Larger-scale or program-level projects with measurable outcomes and clear potential for broader adoption. Interested in learning more and applying? Attend our information session and learn more about opportunities for collaboration across disciplines and units.
