Her work is focused on the prevention of gun violence. Prior to pursuing her PhD, she worked as a Senior Epidemiologist for the CDC Foundation, the Chicago Department of Public Health, and the Ann &amp; Robert H. Lurie Children\u2019s Hospital of Chicago.
