Luh Komang Mela Dewi

Luh Komang Mela Dewi is a Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) student at Boston University School of Public Health. At Indonesia’s Ministry of Health, she serves as a Hospital Administration Specialist, working on COVID-19 response strategies and healthcare transformation initiatives, including secondary care reforms and hospital performance monitoring systems. As the former Advisor to the President Director at Indonesia’s National Cancer Center, she focused on cancer prevention and treatment programs. She holds a Master of Science in Hospital Pharmacy Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from Universitas Gadjah Mada.
Research Interests: Advancing cancer policy and improving health outcomes, particularly in resource-limited settings, through the application of implementation science and health economics research. Passionate about collaborating with global cancer institutions, fostering strategic partnerships, and developing evidence-based policies to enhance cancer care and optimize resource allocation.
