Hillman presented his new book, <em>The Emperor\u2019s New Road: China and the Project of the Century<\/em>, which has just been published by Yale University Press. In this talk, organized by the Center for the Study of Europe at Boston University, Hillman highlighted Europe in China&#8217;s Belt and Road and then turned to impacts on the ground and the road ahead.<\/p>\n<p>Philippe Le Corre, Research Associate with the Ash Center and the Mossavar-Rahmani Center for Business and Government at the Harvard Kennedy School, and Min Ye, Associate Professor of International Relations at BU&#8217;s Pardee School of Global Studies, participated as discussants. The event was moderated by Grant Rhode, also of BU\u2019s Pardee School of Global Studies.<\/p>\n<p>This event took place as part of the Pardee School of Global Studies\u2019 program ASSESSING CHINA\u2019S BELT AND ROAD INITIATIVE.
