The Rhetoric of Discontent: A Transatlantic Perspective on Populism (12/05/23)

Vivien A. Schmidt, Jean Monnet Professor of European Integration, Professor of International Relations in the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies, and Professor of Political Science at Boston University, as well as Founding Director of BU’s Center for the Study of Europe, will deliver a lecture on “The Rhetoric of Discontent: A Transatlantic Perspective on Populism” at on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at 4 PM in the Rajen Kilachand Center Colloquium Room at 610 Commonwealth Avenue. Prof. Schmidt’s lecture will be followed by a gala reception in celebration of her career at Boston University in view of her retirement at the end of this year.

This event is hosted by the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies, in collaboration with the Center for the Study of Europe.
