European Parliament Internships in Washington DC

The European Parliament Liaison Office in Washington DC (EPLO) is pleased to announce the launch of its next round of paid, full-time internships aimed at US graduates. The internship program for now remains in line with current Covid 19 restrictions and health and safety measures. Interns will be joining our Washington DC office from September 15 – December 15, 2021, with an option to extend the internship for a further two months, until February 15, 2022 always at our office in Washington DC.

Currently interns are splitting their time working in the office and working from home with the ration being dictated according to the current health situation in the Washington DC area. We are expecting things to be much better by September, with possibly a gradual return to 100% working in the office by the time the internship starts.

The deadline to submit an application is end of day of June 7. We require a CV in Europass format, a personal statement and one letter of recommendation from a university faculty member.

We believe the internship offers a unique opportunity for students and young professionals with an interest in transatlantic policy. We would be very grateful if you could pass this information on to your relevant student and alumni networks.
