Menorca Field School in Archaeological Heritage Management Summer Study Abroad

Boston University’s Menorca Field School in Archaeological Heritage Management is a five week, intensive introduction to the principles and practice of preserving the world’s cultural heritage. The program explores Menorca’s rich cultural and natural heritage within the context of global heritage protection. Students will study topics in heritage management through class lectures and study tours at archaeological, historical, and natural sites. Students will also receive training in skills including field survey, site mapping, and artifact processing as they pertain specifically to heritage projects. The program is ideal for students in programs such as archaeology, anthropology, history, art history, museum studies, communications, international relations, cultural policy and legislation.
