Step In. (bystander training)<\/li>\n<li>Mental health counseling<\/li>\n<li>Violence prevention workshops during the academic year and upon request<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/shs\/wellness\/\">Health Promotion &amp; Prevention<\/a><\/h4>\n<p>Health Promotion &amp; Prevention, a department of Student Health Services, provides programs and resources to students on the topics of sexual health, substance use prevention, mental health promotion, and sleep.<\/p>\n<h4>Be Safe@BU<\/h4>\n<p>The Dean of Students provides programming at student orientation and beyond to educate the BU community on a variety of safety measures, including assault prevention.<\/p>\n<h4><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/police\/services\/RAD\/\">Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) training<\/a><\/h4>\n<p>The Boston University Police Department offers RAD training several times during the year, and can schedule additional sessions on request.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In addition to the mandatory online sexual violence training, BU also provides a variety of educational programs designed to promote awareness and prevention of sexual assault and domestic violence.
