As part of this effort, all employees are required to complete online sexual misconduct prevention training at the beginning of their employment.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n This\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>training discusses your rights, responsibilities, and helps you build skills to safely intervene in situations that may lead to sexual violence. It also reviews resources and support services for sexual misconduct.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>This training is just one important part of the University\u2019s efforts to promote a culture of respect and prevent interpersonal violence.<\/span><\/p>\n The trainings are delivered through BU\u2019s\u00a0<\/span>Terrier eDevelopment Learning Management Platform (LMS)<\/strong><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n You can complete the assigned Learning Module from any device\u2014desktop, laptop, phone, or tablet. Once you begin, you may pause and resume your training at any time, and your progress will be saved\u2014except when you’re in the middle of a video.<\/p>\n Due to the course length and the variety of topics covered, we recommend completing it in segments rather than all at once.<\/p>\n Please note:<\/p>\n All new employees (faculty and staff) receive an email within a few days of their start date, notifying them that they have two weeks to complete the training. The email comes from the Learning Management System.
