Campus Climate Lab Info Session

  • Starts: 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 20, 2021
  • Ends: 12:00 pm on Tuesday, April 20, 2021
BU Sustainability, in collaboration with the Office of Research, is soliciting ideas for the Campus Climate Lab, an initiative that supports student-faculty research designed to make Boston University's campus and operations more sustainable. Projects can take many shapes, but all should (1) support the goals of the University’s Climate Action Plan, (2) be actionable so they can be integrated into the practices and culture of the University, and (3) include at least one faculty member and at least one student (undergraduate or graduate). Funding will be commensurate with project scope, with awards anticipated in the range of ~$1,000 to >$10,000 per year. Project duration can range from one semester up to one year. Students who participate in the Campus Climate Lab will be eligible for the Anthony Janetos Climate Action Prize, awarded annually to the student or team of students judged to have the most substantial potential impact on advancing the goals of BU's Climate Action Plan. The inaugural Janetos Prize will be awarded at our upcoming info session.
