Clay Cane – Wednesday 10/16
Clay Cane, author of the NYT bestseller The Grift and host of The Clay Cane Show on Sirius XM radio will be coming to BU, invited by Professor Koritha Mitchell for a meet and greet and lecture on Wednesday, October 16th.
Through his media presence, Clay Cane is doing important work to challenge the mainstream tendency of high expectations for Democrats (so that nothing they do is good enough) while there are no expectations of the GOP, even as they roll back rights. Besides having written this NYT bestselling book about politics, he is a journalist. He has also written and spoken openly as a gay Black man, having created a documentary with BET.com that was screened at the White House, titled Holler If You Hear Me: Black and Gay in the Church.
