We recommend using Microsoft PowerPoint as a tool for both presenting slides as well as writing and drawing in class. The following guide will run through starting a meeting, sharing your screen, and writing\/drawing in PowerPoint.<\/p>\n

Windows\/macOS Desktop Application<\/h4>
<\/p>\n
    \n
  1. Open your slides in PowerPoint.<\/li>\n
  2. From the Zoom desktop application, start the meeting\"\"<\/li>\n
  3. In the meeting click\u00a0“<\/strong>Share Screen”<\/strong> in the main window or from the menu bar\"\"<\/li>\n
  4. Select\u00a0“PowerPoint”<\/strong> from the tiles of open applications. Then click\u00a0“Share”\"\"<\/strong><\/li>\n
  5. Go to PowerPoint and start the presentation from the\u00a0“Slide Show”\u00a0<\/strong>button at the bottom right of the window\"\"<\/li>\n
  6. Right-click on a slide you wish to draw on, then select\u00a0“Pointer Options”<\/strong> then\u00a0“Pen”\"\"<\/strong><\/li>\n
  7. Write\/draw on the slide.<\/li>\n
  8. Advance to through the slides with the arrow keys or go back to\u00a0“Pointer Options”<\/strong> and de-select “Pen”<\/strong><\/li>\n
  9. End the presentation, and decide whether to\u00a0“Keep”<\/strong> your ink annotations.\"\"<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
