That\u2019s the word BU Engineering students use most to describe themselves after returning from a semester studying abroad. It\u2019s an eye-opener to see the world in a whole new light, explore another culture and learn more about yourself than you thought you could.<\/p>\n

Sophomores: You can spend the second semester of your sophomore year taking the same engineering courses you would at BU, all taught in English. Study at the foot of the French Alps in Grenoble, France<\/a>; in one of the world\u2019s most dynamic metropolises\u00a0<\/span>Madrid, Spain<\/a>; or down under in the alluring city of\u00a0<\/span>Sydney, Australia<\/a>. There\u2019s time built into each program so you can travel around the region, interact with the people and see the world from a new perspective. This program is most recommended as it is easily integrated into the major.<\/p>\n

Juniors: You can take part in direct-enroll engineering programs, in which classes are instructed in English, at Universities in\u00a0\u00a0Sydney, Australia (fall<\/a>, spring<\/a>), <\/a>Dublin, Ireland<\/a>; Auckland, New Zealand<\/a><\/a>; or\u00a0Singapore<\/a>. These programs require significantly more academic planning than sophomore year programs.<\/p>\n
