Twelve units must be unique to the minor and may not count toward the fulfillment of majors or additional minors. No more than 8 units can be used to satisfy the student\u2019s major degree program requirements.<\/li>\r\n<li>Students are expected to obtain the necessary background (prerequisites or equivalents) to complete chosen courses in the minor program.<\/li>\r\n<li>A minimum 2.00 GPA is required in the courses used to satisfy the minor, with no grade less than a C\u2013.<\/li>\r\n<li>A student must be a Sophomore and have a declared major on record in order to apply for a minor.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide on record in order to apply for a minor in Computer Engineering.<\/li>\r\n<li><a href=\"\/eng\/files\/2026\/04\/Minor-in-CE.pdf\">Applications<\/a> for a Minor in Computer Engineering must be approved by the Associate Chair of Electrical &amp; Computer Engineering Undergraduate Programs.<\/li>\r\n<li>Students planning to pursue a minor in Computer Engineering should apply as early as possible\u2014and no later than May 1 of their junior year\u2014to facilitate course planning.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><!-- \/wp:media-text --><\/p>\r\n<p><!--
