2021 DSRF Application
Each year, Fellows spend the summer engaged in a transformative research experience under the guidance of an ENG faculty member. Students must maintain a 3.0 average to be eligible for the fellowship, and may conduct their projects during the summer following either their sophomore or junior year.
DSRF participants are not eligible to take summer courses. DSRF participants receive $10,000 (taxable, please consult with a tax professional) to cover housing, living expenses, and research expenses such as supplies, books, and related travel. These funds do not need to be used during the summer of the fellowship; funds will be available for use on research expenses up to the last day of classes of the senior year, unless fully expended before then. Students may also apply to the Summer Term Alumni Research Scholars Program but may only participate in a single program.
Students should complete this form only after consulting with their faculty mentor. We are not currently accepting applications for summer 2021.
The deadline to submit an application for the Distinguished Summer Research Fellowship has passed.
