Undergraduates must arrive at the Fitness and Recreation Center between 9:00am and 9:15am. Students should enter through Buick Street, not the main building entrance.
Faculty should arrive for line up in the Fitness and Recreation Center no later than 9:15am. Enter through the main entrance and proceed to the lower level.

General information is as follows:
Cap & Gown Information
Everyone who participates in an academic ceremony on Commencement Day is required to wear a cap and gown as approved by the University.
How can I order photographs or video of the event?
Students can purchase a Handshake photo of them receiving their degree on stage during the ceremony. More information on this will be forthcoming closer to the event.
You may order video of the ceremony digitally through Vimeo. You can place your order through their website.
Is there a limit to the number of guests I can bring?
No, there is no limit at College of Engineering ceremony at the Agganis Arena.
Do my guests need tickets?
No tickets are required for the College of Engineering ceremony. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.
What if I or one of my guests requires handicapped seating or other accommodations?
We do need to know you/your guest’s requirement in advance. Families should contact Disability & Access Services to discuss their specific needs by May 2.
Will we have a rehearsal like we did in high school?
No, there is no rehearsal for either ceremony.
How early should our guests arrive?
For the College of Engineering ceremony guests will be able to enter Agganis Arena no earlier than 9:00 am.
Is it necessary to attend the main ceremony on Nickerson?
No, it is not required.
Approximately how long is the College of Engineering ceremony?
The ceremony lasts approximately two hours.
