This Terrier Spent the Summer Interning at a Golf Ball Plant

Every summer, thousands of Boston University students work in internships in a variety of industries, from advertising to medical research to finance. Terriers get their feet wet in the workaday world, learning job skills that will come in handy after they graduate. For many, that internship is their first professional experience in their chosen field.
Shervin Boostani (ENG’27), a native of Newton, Mass., spent this summer as an advanced mechanical engineering intern at Titleist Ball Plant 3 in New Bedford, Mass. The facility produces balls used by PGA champions and weekend golfers alike. The company is also a leader in the manufacture of golf clubs and golf gear.
