Professor Selim Ünlü: BU’s Innovator of the Year

Congratulations to ECE Professor Selim Ünlü, Boston University’s 2021 Innovator of the Year!
Administered by the Office of Technology Development, the Innovator of the Year award recognizes “an outstanding faculty member who has translated world-class research into an invention or innovation that benefits humankind.” The designation highlights full-time tenure, research, or clinical-track faculty whose cutting-edge work at BU has had a recent impact on the wider public via commercial markets, or which is on the verge of doing so. Nominations are encouraged from faculty, staff and students from every corner of the university.
The official award presentation will take place today, Wednesday, February 16, 2022, during a virtual event titled The Lab to Market Transition: Lessons from Faculty, Students, and Other Research Staff.
