New Investigator Workshop

ENACT hosted a new investigator workshop on April 6th, 2014, the day before the State of the Science Meeting. The goal of the workshop was to enhance the capability of new investigators to employ innovative and novel research methods that can be used to address critical clinical research questions. The workshop agenda was designed to provide opportunities for new investigators to interact with international experts in rehabilitation and arthritis research. In addition to individual mentoring, the workshop agenda included presentations on using large data sets and selecting optimal outcome measures. Furthermore, new investigators had an opportunity to participate in the State of the Science Meeting the following day.

New investigators were encouraged to apply by submitting the following: CV, summary of research goals, and research abstract.  An expert panel reviewed applications to narrow attendance to 20 select participants.  Submitted abstracts were considered for inclusion as a poster presentation during the State of the Science Meeting.

We received an excellent group of applicants and invited 20 New Investigators to participate in the Workshop. See who they were here.
