Rawan AlHeresh, PhD, MS, OT came to ENACT in July 2011 after wearing many hats in the field of Rheumatology. After receiving her BS in Occupational Therapy in 2006 from the University of Jordan and her MS from Brunel University in London in 2008, Rawan served as a full-time lecturer at the University of Jordan and spent time working in Palestinian Refugee camps as part of a Community-based Rehabilitation (CBPR) program. ENACT offers Rawan a unique opportunity to pursue advanced study for arthritis expertise, which she hopes to apply to improving health services, education, prevention and research in Jordan’s rehabilitation services. Rawan completed the ENACT training program in July 2015 and now holds her PhD in Rehabilitation Science. |

Aileen Ledingham, MS, PT, joined the ENACT research team in September 2011 after several years of clinical PT practice both in the United States and abroad. Aileen earned a Bachelor of Science degree in physical therapy from Northeastern University, along with a Master of Science degree in pediatric physical therapy from Long Island University, both of which she used in clinical practice. She also spent time in health administration at the United Kingdom’s National Health Service. Aileen’s research interests have shifted from a pediatric population to a geriatric one, which she pursues in her study of knee osteoarthritis and arthritis-related disability. |

Molly Vaughan, PhD, DPT decided to pursue her PhD with ENACT after completing her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Boston University’s Sargent College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences. While at Sargent College, Molly was mentored by Dr. Julie Keysor, a national expert on disability and the environment and ENACT’s director. Molly’s collaboration with Dr. Keysor inspired her to apply for ENACT’s pre- doctoral clinical fellowship to pursue her interest in the myriad environmental obstacles encountered by people with mobility limitations. Molly completed the ENACT training program in April 2016 and now holds her PhD in Rehabilitation Science. |
