Boston University’s Charles River, Fenway, and Medical Campuses will be open tomorrow, Tuesday, January 27. Snow removal operations will continue throughout the day as our Facilities team works to clear sidewalks, parking lots, and roads.
Due to snow piling and melting operations, Harry Agganis Way will be closed to vehicular traffic with the exception of the BU Shuttle. The closure will begin at 5 p.m. Monday, January 26 and will remain closed until further notice. Vehicular traffic to and from the Agganis Arena garage and loading dock area will remain accessible by way of Buick Street.
We encourage faculty, staff, and supervisors to offer flexibility and understanding, as weather and travel conditions may affect arrival times. Community members should use their best judgment and prioritize safety when making travel decisions. Your patience and consideration for one another help keep our community safe and supported during winter weather.
Facilities Management & Operations will have increased staffing on site to address any building issues that arise during this time. If your building seems abnormally cold, or you don’t have water on the Charles River or Fenway Campuses, call 617-353-2105. For issues at the Medical Campus call 617-358-4144.
