The Research Safety Division of Occupational and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) is staffed by a team of biological safety, chemical and laboratory safety professionals with expertise to assist researchers mitigate and manage risks associated with their research while meeting regulatory and compliance requirements. Each laboratory building is assigned an EHS staff member<\/a> to assist laboratories to conduct safe and compliant research.\u00a0 Research Safety at Boston University helps to minimize the risk of injury and illness to laboratory workers while maintaining compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
