Workplace Safety

At Boston University and Boston Medical Center (BMC), workplaces range from classrooms to labs to offices to construction sites. Workplace Safety at EHS spans and supports safety in the breadth of workplaces at BU and BMC, including administrative, academic, event spaces, maintenance, and construction.

EHS provides a full range of environmental, health, and safety services to the University community. Technical areas include pollution prevention, environmental regulatory compliance, hazardous materials management, laboratory and chemical safety, fire safety, radiation protection, worker protection, and industrial hygiene.
