His research focuses on how information is manipulated in authoritarian countries, and how patronage networks affect politicians\u2019 career incentives and resource allocation in developing countries. He holds an MA in Economics from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and a BA from the Southwestern University of Finance and Economics.
