She received her Ph.D. in Economics from the\u00a0<strong>University of Chicago<\/strong>, an M.A. from\u00a0<strong>Universidad Torcuato Di Tella<\/strong>, and a B.A. from the\u00a0<strong>Universidad de Buenos Aires<\/strong>. Before joining Boston University, she held faculty appointments at the University of California, San Diego; Arizona State University; and the University of Texas at Austin.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Her research is focused on globalization issues at the intersection of\u00a0<strong>international trade, multinational production, and macroeconomics<\/strong>.
