Robert Margo<\/strong> is Professor of Economics, Boston University; and Research Associate, National Bureau of Economic Research. Author, co-author, and co-editor of six books, and over 170+ research articles, book chapters, and book reviews, Margo is a specialist in the economic history of the United States. In 2019, Margo was named a Fellow of the Economic History Association, and in 2026, a Distinguished Fellow of the American Economic Association.<\/span><\/p>\n
