In a typical year, we send 20 doctoral students into the world and all of them have jobs long before they leave campus. Some of our students work in academia, others in international organizations or government, and still others in private sector jobs in consulting or finance. Employers want our grads for the long haul, awarding tenure-track positions at places like the University of Chicago, the London School of Economics, Brown University, Harvard Business School, Duke University, and the National University of Singapore. Our doctoral students have\u00a0gone on to work at\u00a0the Central Bank of Hungary, the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, Analysis Group, and the Bank of Italy\u2014and they\u2019re finding that passion can indeed be profitable.<\/p>\n
