A list of our current visiting scholars can be found <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/econ\/faculty-staff\/our-visiting-scholars\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">here<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Distinguished Visitors Program<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Starting in 2008, the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/econ\/research\/lectures\/distinguished-visitors\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Distinguished Visitors Program<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> has invited distinguished visitors from the different concentrations of economics to give two lectures and one seminar. This exchange of ideas has been a great success allowing the distinguished visitor to disseminate their research to faculty and students.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Special Events<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The IED periodically hosts lectures and events, unique to other departmental programs, with a focus on the presentation of research or career development for the department\u2019s graduate students.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Information and Events details will be posted as they become available.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Research Grants for IED-Affiliated Faculty<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The IED administers many grants for IED-affiliated faculty.
