{"id":35,"date":"2019-08-23T13:24:41","date_gmt":"2019-08-23T17:24:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/earth\/apply-for-a-ba-ma\/"},"modified":"2025-11-03T10:06:39","modified_gmt":"2025-11-03T15:06:39","slug":"apply-for-a-ba-ms","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/earth\/admissions\/apply-for-a-ba-ms\/","title":{"rendered":"Apply for a BA\/MS"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Expand Your Knowledge.<\/h2>\n<p>Students in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/earth\/academics\/undergraduate\/ba-earth-environmental-sciences\/\">Earth and Environmental Sciences<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/earth\/academics\/undergraduate\/ba-environmental-analysis-policy\/\"><span>Environmental Analysis &amp; Policy<\/span><\/a> have the opportunity to pursue both a BA and an MS offered as one coherent plan of study. This program generally allows the student to receive both the BA and the MS in five years or less. Students typically apply to the program before in the spring of their junior year and must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher through the end of their junior year. Graduate courses must be completed with a grade of B\u2013 or better. At least 152 credits must be completed to fulfill the University credit requirements for the BA\/MS in addition to all course requirements for each degree.
