She previously worked for 10 years as the Associate Dean of Students and Director of Residence Life at Wheelock College. Now she has joined the Terrier pack to help with the transitions related to the merger between BU and Wheelock. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">She refers to herself as a \u201chigher education change agent,\u201d <span>to help all students transitioning from other institutions.<\/span> \u201cI have an open door policy and am open to being an advisor or mentor to students through this change,\u201d said Dubois.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dubois, a Massachusetts native, received her bachelor&#8217;s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Hofstra University, and her Masters from Suffolk University in higher education administration. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Before joining BU, Darcy worked at Wheelock College, Mount Ida College, and Emmanuel College.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In addition to her higher education career, she is a devoted mother to a seven year old son and a lover of arts and culture. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To learn more about her and what she does, I encourage you to stop by the DOS office and give her a warm Terrier welcome.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8211; Jillian Lattimore (CGS &#8217;17, COM &#8217;19)<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Please welcome the newest member of the Dean of Students\u2019 office, Darcy Dubois!
