People who find a passion and show it in their life. Each year I look forward to the University&#8217;s annual recognition of alumni (folks from our family) who find their passion and demonstrate it to the world &#8211; people who do not consider themselves special or extraordinary. \u00a0I look forward to this annual event because it is inspiring. \u00a0I love to hear the stories of hard-working, smart, and inspired people. \u00a0Always makes me proud to say that I have an affiliation &#8211; Boston University &#8211; with such folk.<\/p>\n<p>During this upcoming weekend <a title=\"Winterfest\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bu.edu\/alumni\/interests\/events\/winterfest\/\" target=\"_blank\">celebration of our alumni<\/a>, four of the family receive honors on Friday night in a ceremony open to the entire BU community. \u00a0That&#8217;s right, we&#8217;re all invited to the awards ceremony and reception. \u00a0I hope you&#8217;ll join me for a moment of inspiration, tomorrow at 6 p.m. in the School of Management Auditorium (I think they want us to let them know we&#8217;re coming &#8211; auf@bu,edu). \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>I always look forward to this event and when members of the family come to campus for a\u00a0visit.<\/p>\n<p>Peace.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What inspires me?
