Don&#8217;t walk back to your residence hall alone. Here are some options for transportation around BU at night.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Boston University Police Department (BUPD)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Call BUPD if you feel unsafe. The number is on the back of your Terrier Card: (617) 353-2121<\/p>\n<p><strong>Emergency Call Boxes\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span>Throughout the Boston University campus, there are many blue emergency call boxes. They have a red button inside that will automatically connect you to the Police Department. Learn more <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/police\/safetyoncampus\/emergency-call-boxes\/\">here<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>BU Shuttle\/BU Bus<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The BU Shuttle (or the BUS) runs a late night Charles River Campus Service that runs in the early morning hours. The late night schedule and specific stops are available <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bu.edu\/thebus\/schedules\/#2\">on their website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Taxis<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There are many taxi services around Boston. We don&#8217;t endorse one service above any other, but we do recommend that you find one or two and program their numbers into your phone, even if you think you will never need one.
