CURA Colloquium, cosponsored with the School of Theology *Reading the paper in advance is required for attendance. Email cura@bu.edu for the .pdf.*
Adopting a human rights lens, this presentation explores what roles world religions play in post World War II food-security and peace-making dynamics. The conceptual framework and evidence base build on Professor Messer's two earlier projects: “The Human Right to Food. Religious Promise and Practice (RPP)” and “Food from Peace. Breaking the Links Between Hunger and Conflict” and innovative teaching modules, “Religion and Development” and “Religion in Conflict Resolution and Coexistence.”
