The Bach Experience: Lecture and Breakfast

Join us for Johann Sebastian Bach's Cantata for the Feast of St. John the Baptist "Christ unser Herr zum Jordan kam (Christ Our Lord Came to the Jordan)", BWV 7. Music at Marsh Chapel celebrates the tenth anniversary of the Bach Cantata Series with four cantatas never performed before at Marsh Chapel. Each Bach Experience Sunday begins at 9:45 AM with a 30-minute discussion of the work's musical and theological significance. After a complimentary breakfast, the Experience continues with a complete performance of the cantata during the Sunday morning service.
