Educational Technologist, Learning Analytics

Shuang consults faculty on leveraging learning analytics in conjunction with educational technologies to attain desirable student learning outcomes and engage in educational innovation experiments. In her consultations and research, she employs a wide range of analytical methods, spanning from survey design to statistical modeling, machine learning, and data visualization. She specializes in Blackboard Data, Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Qualtrics, and R.

Shuang holds an Ed.M. in Learning Design, Innovation, and Technology from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a B.A. in Statistics and Public Policy from the University of Virginia. She has previous professional backgrounds in policy research, institutional research, and assessment.
