The Inclusive Engineering Classroom

As an engineering professor of color, Professor Hamid Nawab, BU Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, says he is struck by the continuing lack of diversity in our faculty and its reflection in the form of not-so-benign neglect of inclusivity in the classroom as well as in the meeting room. This presentation will explore the paths we might take to help bring the multidimensional vitality and benefits of inclusion into the engineering classroom.
