The Living Language Guide was inspired by the similar work of many other institutions and organizations and is the result of many months of research by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/diversity\/participate\/learning-training\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Learning &amp; Training<\/a> team. Terminologies found in the Guide <span>are not Boston University\u2019s recommended or mandated terminology. Rather, the hope that the Living Language Guide will serve as a resource for all at BU to continue to shift the culture, build capacity, and create community together.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>BU D&amp;I welcomes the feedback and suggestion of BU community members as the Living Language Guide continues to grow.
