<\/a>Learn More Grants<\/h2>\n

Boston University Diversity & Inclusion (BU D&I) is proud to announce the Learn More Series<\/a> theme for the 2025-2026 academic year is\u00a0The Future of Higher Education<\/a>.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Each year, we dedicate ourselves to examining a single topic of social importance through our Learn More Series. This signature series invites us to stand in solidarity with underrepresented and historically marginalized communities and challenges us to better understand the history and lived experience of these communities in their full complexity. The series has evolved to include <\/span>nationally renowned speakers, workshops<\/span>, panel discussions, art installations, film screenings, community read-alouds, and many other components.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Another key component of the series? YOU! BU Diversity & Inclusion offers grant funding to support faculty, staff, and students in creating community, building capacity, and exploring research related to each year\u2019s theme. This year, the Learn More Series has two grant funding categories: Community Grants<\/strong> (for faculty, staff, and students) and Research Grants <\/strong>(for faculty of any type and postdoctoral fellows with contracts that continue through the grant year).<\/p>\n

Learn More Community Grant<\/h4>
<\/p>\n

Learn More <\/span>Community Grants provide<\/span> between $1,000 – $3,000 in funding to\u202fstudents, staff, and faculty who wish to\u202ftake a deeper dive into the year\u2019s theme, either by hosting programs and events open to the campus community or by organizing smaller learning communities, such as book clubs or study groups.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Learn More Research Grant<\/h4>
<\/p>\n

Learn More Research Grants provide BU faculty members and postdoctoral associates and fellows with funding to support their high-impact research on social issues related to the annual Learn More Series theme. Through these grants, BU D&I supports the critical work of scholars dedicated to contributing to a more just society through their research.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Applicants may request up to $5,000 in funding.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
