Carla Gualdrón

Carla joined the staff of the Senior Diversity Officer as the Communications Manager in January 2021. In her role, she writes, edits, and disseminates all communications for the OSDO, including campus-wide newsletters, website content, annual reports, and event advertisements.

She attended Emerson College, received a Bachelor’s in Print Journalism, and later wrote for publications such as The Boston Herald and The Enterprise. She is currently an MBA Candidate at BU’s Questrom School of Business.

Before joining the OSDO, Carla worked for the literacy nonprofit, WriteBoston, as the Program Director of Teens in Print, a year-round writing program for 8-12th grade students in Boston. In her free time, she listens to numerous news-based podcasts and enjoys spending time with her cat, Ollie.
