He was a full-time faculty member at the Manipal University for nine years and received the Excellence in Teaching Award for the year 2015 during his employment there.\u00a0 He is a life member of the Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons of \u00a0India and a licensed BLS instructor.\u00a0 Dr. Bhagania completed the AO Craniomaxillofacial Fellowship from the Ludwigs Maximillian University at Munich, Germany where he was trained by some of the best surgeons in Germany.\u00a0 <\/span>Dr. Bhagania\u2019s interests include predoctoral education, clinical and didactic training of OMS residents in dentoalveolar surgery, treatment of medically compromised patients, management of orofacial and dental pain, and incorporation of research and development into the oral and maxillofacial surgery practice.\u00a0 Dr. Bhagania is the Director of the OMS Preliminary Internship Program and very heavily involved in the training of OMS residents, both in the didactic and clinical settings.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":9505,"template":"","_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/dental\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/profile\/34234"}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/dental\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/profile"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/dental\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/profile"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/dental\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/9505"}],"version-history":[{"count":7,"href":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/dental\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/profile\/34234\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":49561,"href":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/dental\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/profile\/34234\/revisions\/49561"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/dental\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=34234"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
