Goldman School of Dental Medicine (GSDM) community\u00a0had the opportunity to greet each other face to face during this year\u2019s Alumni Weekend celebration.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Approximately 65 people attended this year\u2019s reception, which\u00a0took place\u00a0Saturday, October<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a02 in a new location,\u00a0under a tent on Talbot Green\u00a0on the Boston University Medical Campus.\u00a0In addition to catching up with their classmates\u00a0and sampling seasonally inspired refreshments, attendees\u00a0had the opportunity to tour the dental school and explore the new spaces completed\u00a0during the GSDM Addition and Renovation Project.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u201cEverybody was so excited to see the school,\u201d Stacey McNamee, director of Alumni Relations\u00a0&amp;\u00a0Annual Giving, said. \u201cIt\u2019s something that we, as members of the GSDM community, should be really proud of.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Karun Gaba DMD 10, who traveled from Arizona for the event, visited the school for the first time since graduating and was impressed by the new spaces.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u201cIt was a great feeling, walking through the building and appreciating the changes made,\u201d Gaba said. \u201cI think the school is going in the right direction.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The event also included a special celebration for the Class of 2020. Each of the graduates who attended Alumni Weekend had their name called out by Dean Leone during the events and received a BU blanket as a gift. Videos inside of the school played a video featuring submitted photos from the Class of 2020\u2019s time at GSDM and a list of the graduates.
