He is a fellow of the American Dental Education Association (ADEA) Leadership Institute class of 2008. Guarente<\/span> received his DMD from BUSDM. <\/p>\n
Dr. Paul Farsai promoted from assistant professor to associate professor of general dentistry.<\/em> Farsai joined BUSDM in 1995 as an instructor in predoctoral courses. He was appointed assistant professor in the Department of Restorative Sciences and co-course director of Integrated Problems in Practice Management II in 1997. He later served as course director of Integrated Problems in Practice Management I, III, and IV; Behavioral Sciences; and Evidence-based Practice Seminars. He became assistant professor in the Department of Health Policy and Health Services Research in 1999 and assistant professor in the Department of General Dentistry in 2000. He received his DMD, CAGS, and MPH from Boston University. <\/p>\n
Dr. Pushkar Mehra promoted from assistant professor to associate professor of oral and maxillofacial surgery.<\/em> Mehra joined the school in 2000 as assistant professor and later served as clinical director in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is also director of the Maxillofacial Trauma Service at BUMC and director of the Departments of Dentistry and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at BMC. Mehra earned his DMD and CAGS from BUSDM.<\/p>\n
